The Aleutian Islands
These are a chain of 150 small islands. The islands are known for Shishaldin a volcano on Unimak Island. The native people are known as Aleuts which belong to the Eskimo-Aleut language family. Navigation around these islands is highly dangerous. There are a few good harbors but there is fog and reefs that are not seen.
